Capturing Tiny Details

When it comes to macro photography, it’s tempting to mindlessly just shoot what you see. But enhancing the lighting is often the key difference between a so-so close-up and an extraordinary macro shot. 

Here’s an excerpt from one of our articles on lighting those tiny details:

“You may need to use external flashes or diffusers to create the right lighting conditions for your subject. Don’t be afraid to get creative with your lighting – try using backlighting or side lighting to create interesting shadows and highlights.”
